A minimalist exploration of modern life and Scandinavian zen. WATCHING PAINT DRY will take you on an extraordinary journey through the freshly coated corridors of your mind.

The Rebel Alliance is delighted to return to Teater V with a new solo show following their 2023 presentation of BACK TO SQUARE ONE? which was performed outside on Porcelænstorvet as part of CPH Stage. Once again written and directed by Anders Falstie-Jensen, WATCHING PAINT DRY plays with our notion of time and our relationship with mobile phones. How hard can it be to do nothing for sustained periods of time and how much actually happens when nothing seems to be happening at all? Only one way to find out! watch paint dry! LIVE!

Igen skrevet og instrueret af Anders Falstie-Jensen leger WATCHING PAINT DRY med vores tidsopfattelse og vores forhold til mobiltelefoner. Hvor svært kan det være at lave ingenting i længere tid ad gangen – og hvor meget sker der egentlig, når det ser ud til, at der slet ikke sker noget? Der er kun én måde at finde ud af det på: Se maling tørre! LIVE!
